Using a King to empower your religious agenda ... I can't wait to see what Dany's reaction will be to the Red Priests naming her their messiah. Books and show. I kind of hope she tells them to fuck off. I doubt it though. I think R'hllor is going to play a big part in both.

I think R'hllor is going to play a big part in both. Yeah I'm not really sure either how that's all going to go down. I suspect she may tolerate it because they are attractive to the slaves and downtrodden people who want to believe this "Lord of Light" can save them all and that it gains her more approval, but at the same time I doubt she's going to buy into any theory that it's a God who gave her the fire power and her dragons. Either way I think it adds a great new dimension to Dany's story that's needed going forward in leaving Meereen and you're right, it's going to play a big part in the eventual "God-bowl" showdown I think.

I agree with Envie, I can see Dany tolerating the Red Priest but I'm not sure she would buy into their who religion. She's never been a very religious character, additionally everything she has accomplish, she's done so on her own. That is, she hasn't needed R'ller to perform miracles, she birth the dragons, got her armies all on her own wits and powers, I'm not sure she would want to give someone else credit for that. But we'll see...

Considering Dany thinks she is the shit and needs no help, yeah she will deny there is any Lord of Light and tells them to go away

I didn't quite know where to post this, but I assume this is the right thread, eh?

Prideful Fathers & Failed Sons (Courtesy of Alt-Shift-X) i'm surprised roose hasn't pointed out the absence of his namesake. Sansa's also had a few mirror shots, so that's what I was thinking of in Arya's scene.

"Baelor the Blessed was holy...and he was a right fucknut" - Tywin
Should have listened to that bit, son.

Also somewhere in their dialogue Olenna looked up while writing and said "Good." in the same way Tywin did when talking to Cersei in S4(?).
