So many to choose from this time.... 1) Jaime vs. High Sparrow - Goosebumps! Two seemingly wildly different men testing each other. Love how Pryce (and the script) accentuate the High Sparrow's weaknesses ("I fear this, I fear that...") while literally every thing that he does in the scene contradicts this supposed feebleness. He's this ascetic figure that has more life in him than anyone else. Jaime plays up his strength to no avail - the Sparrow smelled his weakness. Love Pryce and Nikolaj in this. 2) Davos/Mel & Resurrection - I will cheat here and consider this as one long scene. Liam and Carice are the pair of the season, no doubt about it From Mel's empty stare into the flames to the resurrection, nearly everything here works. And those creepy Jesus parallels give the proceedings some serious visual weight that make it more than just hocus pocus. 3) The Bridge - Another scene that could have been ridiculous but works fantastically well. Visually stunning. No idea if Euron is godless or so godly that he has convinced himself he is a god, but there's an undeniable sense that you don't mess with that kind of crazy This is new territory for GOT antagonists - not even Mel or the High Sparrow would dare to consider themselves gods. And Balon falls much better than Lysa Arryn. Great job, P. Malahide. 4) Sansa and Theon's Goodbye - Small but perfect. Feels like payoff for much of what we had to endure in season 5. 5) Cersei and Tommen - King's Landing was on fire this episode. Cersei has rarely (if ever) been more erratic than in her scenes this episode, and her conversation with Tommen like he wasn't even in the room was a highlight for me. I think she feels defeated by the prophecy but is determined to bring down everyone else with her. Staring at the Sept of Baelor in the distance was a great touch. And so many more.... Post your own!

Theon and Sansa's goodbye. Theon telling Sansa he can never make up for what he did to her family, the miller's boys, and particularly Robb was just a heartbreaking. And Alfie particularly killed in that scene imo.
Euron's introduction. Pyke looked awesome in the storm, and Pilou made a great first impression. Loved the book line as well. Also, Balon's funeral. Great looking scene. Love the Ironborn ceremonies.
Tyrion and the dragons. Would have probably been my favorite scene in a lesser episode. Loved that they included his story from the books.
Jon's resurrection. Carice was great, and I loved that they made it look like it didn't work. Ghost sensing Jon was back was great.
Ramsay killing Roose and Walda (& child). The latter was pretty disturbing, even for GoT. Ramsay is certainly over the top sometimes, and we didn't need anymore reasons to hate him, but his eventual death will hopefully be the most satisfying in the show to date.

Forgot about the WF flashback. It was a nice little scene. Especially liked seeing Hodor and Old Nan. Bran saying how happy they all looked was really sad though.

Love the Ironborn ceremonies. i liked the funeral bc the ceremony was a complete show invention, wasn't it? and yet it fit right in with the ironborn and the drowned god.

We never had an Ironborn funeral in the books iirc. I don't remember them finding Balon's either.

1) Euron/Balon - what a magnificent scene. It's actually very tempting for me to change from Robert to Euron, nobody has ever made me want to do that, but I could never betray the Baratheons - Robert will forever chuckle! 2) Winterfell flashback - Though I always have and probably always will always consider Bran boring, I love flashbacks when they're done well, and this one was done incredibly well! Ned! Lyanna! Wylis! Benjen! Rodrik! I want more! 3) Tyrion and the dragons - beautifully shot, the dragons looked fantastic, as always, and Tyrion's story was really moving. More so than his previous stories about his cousin Orson 4) Mel/Davos and the Resurrection - for a moment I genuinely thought the magic hadn't worked and it would have to be done by Bran ex machina. Thank god it wasn't because these scenes were perfect (maybe other than Davos just asking her out of the blue to bring him back) 5) Myrcella's funeral - Despite having seen most of the scene in little clips, it's still excellent. Loved NCW and Pryce together and looking forward to more!

1) Jon's resurrection. Very well directed, with the right amount of increasing tension and building up before the final moment, and without being over the top. Great acting from Carice, I love the desperation in his voice and face when she said "please" while he is perfoming the ritual.
2) Euron vs Balon. Atmospheric, very cool cinematography and Pilou delivered some of Euron's most iconic lines from the books with confidence. My expectations are high for this storyline.
3) Winterfell flashback. Max von Sydow was excellent, and the Hodor's mystery intrigues me. And we finally see Lyanna!
4) Theon and Sansa's farewell. Great acting from Sophie and Alfie. Moving scene, full of melancholy, regret and the fear for the uncertain.
5) Tyrion and the Dragons. Another well directed scene (good job, Mr. Podeswa!). The "Don't eat the help" line made me chuckle.

1. Theon and Sansa's goodbye...so heartfelt and sad when Theon recounts the ways he's wronged her family. Alfie Allen killed that scene. 2. Davos convincing Melisandre to try to bring Jon back. Just seeing how sad she looked when the scene started...we've never seen her that dejected and unconfident. 3. Winterfell Flashback. 4. Euron and Balon's confrontation 5. Wun Wun taking care of business.

1. Tyrion and the Dragons. Obviously I've been hyping and gushing about this one for awhile ever since that first photo of Tyrion holding a torch came out. It exceeded my expectations especially since they made it so poignant with his childhood dream of owning a dragon from the books. 2. Davos and Melisandre - they have great chemistry and Carice has really nailed it with the downfallen Melisandre scenes and Davos was appropriately awkward about asking her. I loved his "Then, fuck 'em" line about Mel's "losing my religion" reasons for not being able to help Jon. 3. Sansa and Theon. These two have been so amazing together as 'victims' overcoming Ramsay, escaping and forgiveness. It was sad to see Theon's face and Sansa's genuine fear for him leaving them. 4. Bran and The Three Eyed Raven. Loved the flashback, loved the creepy 'jacked into the matrix' look of the tree and loved the bit with Meera. She's obviously not handling the extended stay north of the wall well. This was good foreshadowing that she's going to play a big part when they leave. 5. Head smashing x 2. I know, it was actually two diff scenes but both of them one right after the other were so awesome I had to put them together... Wun Wun and Frankegregor getting the job done. Damn.

I cringed when Bran asked if she was alright. "Yeah, I almost got raped, we got attacked by skeletons, then my brother died and exploded, and now we're just sitting here. Obviously I'm fine."

Yeah it's like Ozzy Man said in his review: "All that sitting around through the entire Season 5 has made her cranky."
