Honestly, I have no words. I liked everything about this episode. Everything. Even the Greyjoys and I don't give a fuck about them in the books.

Do we have to retire the "Dave Hill is just an intern"-jokes now?

When you don't see Dorne in the opening credits: And that's only just the beginning of a great episode.

I wonder if it's an insider's running joke how much D&D are getting HBO to pay awesome actors to lie on a slab(or floating funeral boat) and pretend to be a corpse this season.
This show is getting so fucking brutal, this week we had a character be born and murdered in the same episode.

Hopefully Jon can kill the little turdburger himself now. That had to be the only reason he and Thorne were left alive, right? I think so. Jon will probably sick Ghost on them. He may not need to. Aliser and/or Ollie may shit himself and die of fright once he sees Jon has arisen.

The Child of the Forest was seriously creepy. Like, I watch scary movies all the time, but I actually jumped when they first cut to the shot of the COTF. They are definitely giving off an inhuman vibe. I feel like the shape of her skull kind of reminded me of the Night's King.
It was confusingly satisfying watching tonight's episode. We had a scene like Balon's death that should have happened three years ago. So on the one hand it was like 'finally!' but on the other hand they revealed Euron's participation. So it was old information undercut by new intel at the same time.
I'm actually thoroughly disappointed by Roose Bolton's death. In such a brutal show I find myself strangely compelled by villains like Roose Bolton, and in a time where characters like Joffrey and Tywin are sorely missing, I'm sad to see Roose go. He brought a strange sense of wisdom and discipline to an evil lifestyle, whereas Ramsay is a much more chaotic villain. I wish that the character who killed Robb Stark went out in a more grandiose fashion, but it will probably be poetic to see the bastards of Stark and Bolton fight.

I don't know if anyone pointed this out yet, but kudos to Patrick Malahide for returning as Balon after three seasons only to die five minutes later.

Lying Liar Who Lied Apologizes "My biggest fear was that people weren't going to care..." Um, you do realize that you're a fucking POV character.
