So @alcasinoroyale , is this how you break it down? The haggard lord is in his 50s is Lord Glover from the promo. The white-haired lord in his 70s is Lord Hornwood (?) who possibly shares a scene with Lyanna Mormont in Bear Island, ep. 7. Manderly and Cerwyn are in White Harbor in a different scene (episode 8?) Captain of the tower could be a Moat Cailin dude (episode 8?) Yeah the Haggard lord in his 50's is Robett Glover. Fat nobleman in his 60's is Wyman Manderly. Callow young nobleman in his 20's is Cley Cerwyn. Captain of the Tower being in Moat Cailin seems right too. Lord Hornwood might just be in the scene with Manderly and Cerwyn, but I don't think he had a specific casting call. Lyanna Mormont didn't either, but she was kept under wraps. Great So are we thinking this is not a northern lord? I can't quite place him. Distinguished Man: In his 60’s to mid-70’s. GoT was looking for someone white-haired with aristocratic features, and capable of great intensity, with natural authority. The part required a couple days’ filming but was described as “impactful” nonetheless. He shot the week commencing October 29th in Northern Ireland.

That's why I think he could be related to the Lyanna Mormont scene. We know there are other lords in that scene, right?

Liam Cunningham said something along the lines of there being hostile lords along with Lyanna or something like that. I guess we'll find out in 2 days.

https://www.reddit.com/r/freefolk/comments/4mg5dg/varys_hasnt_met_dany_at_all_in_s05_or_s06/ Show Varys definitely became one of the least interesting characters for me after Season 5.

https://www.reddit.com/r/freefolk/comments/4mg5dg/varys_hasnt_met_dany_at_all_in_s05_or_s06/ I had actually forgotten that Dany knows Jorah was spying on her to Varys. Makes sense that he'd want to avoid her until he was confident she wouldn't want to scream Dracarys at the top of her lungs at the sight of him.

I always assumed Varys would go to Dorne (yes, I know ... now that's cringe material) and try to smooth things over with Doran to try and start winning some Westeros favor for Daenerys. Buuuuut since the show writers decided to pretty much annihilate House Martell, I don't know where that's going to go. I do NOT want f*cking Sand Snakes crawling around Dany on their bellies because she's some goddess Queen ... that would make me projectile vomit. Now I have no idea what Varys is going to do. It's not even that important that he go to KL and deal with Kevan and Pycelle as I think Cersei's got that plan in the show now anyways. If/when Varys meets Daenerys, he's going to need all of his smooth talking and probably a lot of help from Tyrion to get Dany to accept him.

But tbh, I have faith in the main cast and Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Conleth Hill and Dianna Rigg would all be able to elevate Dorne. That is if any of them even go there. Nothing is confirmed yet.

Josephine Gillan will be returning in tomorrow's episode (the link is in her twitter status). I'm guessing she'll appear in Volantis because I think that's where Marei might have escaped to after the Faith Militant destroyed LF's brothel.

Anyone know how much screen time Jon has had this season? It feels like not very much, but I don't know if that is just me. Seems slightly odd that after something as big as his coming back to life he would get relatively little screen time, which is why I'm curious how much he actually gets

Probably been discussed to death in the leak thread buuut it seems clear to me, knowing Arya will be in the Riverlands by episode 10, that we're being set up for an Arya and the Hound reunion. Hopefully you don't all know exactly how it's going to go down (and if you do mention it now so I can just speculate on my own) but I feel like all of the things going on in the Riverlands have to have some sort of connection. So:
-Brienne is on a mission to recruit Tully forces for Sansa. But they're in the middle of a siege, which is likely to end in Jaime successfully recovering the castle for the Freys. So Brienne will have to leave empty-handed (maybe with the Blackfish, maybe not). I can't see her just sidling back to Sansa, so I'm sure she'll also be in for a reunion with the Hound, and possibly Arya too.
-Jaime will probably win back Riverrun the same way he does in the books, by handing Edmure over only for him to surrender the castle. Probably after many men have already died in an early confrontation. The shot at the Twins with Lannister soldiers is clearly a celebration of their success, and I can only imagine something is going to go down there, knowing Jaime ends the Season away from Riverrun (kind of fearing for him right now).
-I'm really not sure how this quite fits together though. We've heard that the Brotherhood are causing problems for the Freys, supposedly rallying the smallfolk against them. Yet what we've seen contradicts that. So there could be factions at odds here or simply conflicting reports. Sandor will track them down and perhaps we'll find out who their leader is. Brienne is also in for a confrontation with them and this could lead to the Brienne/Hound reunion. Brienne is reminded of her Stark affiliation and The Hound is reminded of their history with him. Perhaps they're recruited for a significant move against the Freys.
-Arya herself I really don't know either. It would be cool if she did join the acting troupe and they did travel to The Twins to play out some entertainment for the Freys and Lannisters. Then she could be present for their massacre, be reunited with the Hound and everything is all rosy. Except for the Dark Brotherhood being behind it all.
This is all rampant, baseless speculation with no confidence on my part but I've not been this excited to see a story play out since I was Unsullied.

I doubt King's Landing will take the lead by the end of the season though. Technically The Wall, The North, and The Vale could be one storyline too.
