I hope Bloodraven has his birthmark. I haven't looked at all the pictures of him, but I haven't seen any that show that side of him anyway. dude, he doesn't even have an eye missing.

Hey guys. By the way you're all saying it, are we sure that Rickon and Osha will both die at Snowbowl??? Yes. Osha will already be dead at that point, I think.

Harald Karstark looks like a real piece of shit. Good casting IMO.

Two stills from E2 show Yara , gee she looks years older than last we saw here. However off screen Gemma Whelan looks the same as she always has.
The show really went for a different take on Asha, they just flat wanted a sea-salt hardened female captain.

In the books she was not, though she was into fairly rough sex.

She was already 'different' from what most of us expected from book Asha but that's ok, I didn't mind it so much and Gemma did a good job with her character. I think it might have seemed out of place if all the Ironborn were these hard-bitten looking characters who have existed and thrived at sea like that for so long and then have Asha/Yara look like a buttercup lily white beauty.

The HBO schedule has the episode down as being called 'Home', but Sky has it down as 'Homeward Bound'.

Marginalia: If Ben Crompton makes it through this season, which is kind a questionable, he will be among the few third tier characters to have been in all seasons. Some Bran (he first tier?, I think so), Hodor , kind of sort a first tier, have not. Who else?

More Marginalia: It interesting that Meera Reed has been kept as a character, she seems as disposable as her brother, who is still alive in the books. In the episode and later , on a trek to the Wall, wonder if she lasts? Surprised outside the cave, not because it is dangerous but got be warmer in there!!!

I think they are. With Benjen coming back and Bran seeing a shitload of visions, it's way too much valuable information being wasted if they don't go back south to contact Jon.

I know, I meant that she and Hodor are not on a way back to the North while Bran remains in Bloodraven's cave, which (I assume) is what Boojam thought.
