I also don't put too much stock in that. Like Rory , Natalia and Art seemed to have been in NI for only a short time, could be just to put in an appearance and see them in S7. Art will be grown by then!
Usually Natalia can be counted on for some kind of comment but its been kind of radio silence from her for some while now.

I don't think she'll be involved with whatever happens at the Twins then. Going from Braavos to Westeros, heading straight to the Twins and organizing a massacre in the space of two episodes seems way too rushed to me.
I don't think she'll organize it, either. But maybe the acting troupe has been summoned by Walder Frey in advance and she happens to be there when the Tully loyalists (whoever they are) come in.
Didn't D&D say 'no more major deaths' in their red carpet interview? anyway i'm hoping rickon doesn't die for the sake of dying so the characters can be sad. They've actually got enough to be sad of.
I'm getting the feeling Theon will leave Sansa very early in the season, like episode 1. Once Brienne and Pod are with her, Theon doesn't need to be. I think Brienne and Sansa and Pod go straight to the wall, for a few reasons. Sansa knows for sure that Jon is there and would protect her. She doesn't know for sure the loyalties of any other northern lord. (also i'm still sticking to the theory that is Sansa's famous blue cloak in that photo)
That's why once she gets to CB around maybe ep3-4, she learns from Jon that the Mormonts are loyal to the Starks (How else would she know this? Only from Davos or Jon). From there i think she'll lead the army down to Winterfell, collecting the Karstarks and etc.
I think Brienne and Pod are likely to go to Eastwatch to get a boat from there to the Saltpans.
I also doubt that is LF in that photo of Sansa on the hill. Because that is definitely not his hair. Aiden's hair is very silver/grey on the side and that guy's hair in the photo looks black and bushy on the sides.
So it is not possible to have 5, 8 and 10. If Arya leaves Braavos in E8, how that can happen without the acting troupe in that episode. And if they appear in E8, that means they can't appear in E10.
If they do appear in E10, maybe Arya just hears about the acting troupe going to Westeros in E7 and she plans to escape. In E8, Jaqen could find out, Arya is then forced to flee from The House of Black and White, and is chased by The Waif.
I think most of us are aware of that, but still don't find the notion of it very appealing. I don't get why any author would decide to include something like that. Quite frankly, I find it stupid. But well, it seems as if it is happening.

Rickon's pointless inclusion in the story is stupid, IA.
Ned always said that the man who passes the sentence should swing the blade, though he never took any joy in the duty. But I would, oh, yes.

At first I was against his death. But then I realized that I would rather watch Sansa and Jon as rulers of the North, than Rickon, who is not more than an extra.
When was the last time you left this palace?
You don’t know your own people. Their disgust for you.
Elia Martell raped and murdered, and you did nothing. Oberyn Martell butchered, and you did nothing.
You’re not a Dornishman. You’re not our prince. Weak men will never rule Dorne again!

Either don't include him at all or use him somehow. Those are the two options I would have been fine with.

Yes, but then don't include that character to begin with. The entire idea of a shaggydog-story is stupid to me.
maybe GrrM thought that 5 kids is better than 4 kids.
Well, maybe he will do something before his death. But not every character in the story where you have a hundreds of characters can serve some great purpose. He was there for Bran's character development in S1-3, and I don't know what he will do in S6.
I just think that super book fans have great expectations of him, because they created so many theories about him after aDwD. For the majority of show watchers and book readers he is just some random, non important character.

What pisses me off about Rickon is that he stole Osha from us She could be in the 3eyed raven's cave right now, assuming she overcame her fear of WWs for Bran.

If he actually did something in S6, that would be better, IMO. But I'm not counting on that. I just find it nonsensical to include a character that could have easily been cut, especially if his purpose is just to die to make an impact on other characters. If he had his own little arc, no matter how small, that would be better. His inclusion should be an end in itself. What I'm saying here is that I'm critical of shaggydog stories in general. I just don't see how the story benefits from that.

For a long time my dream ending for the North was Rickon coming back from Skagos as a psychotic cannibal and growing up to be worse lord of Winterfell than Ramsay, capturing nobles and feasting on their meat, forcing lords to eat their kin and shit like that, making the Northeners despise House Stark for generations and miss the days the Boltons rules the North. Now I'm starting to accept his possible death, so I guess I'll have to settle for Sansa as Queen in the North or something.
