I really love this guy ... he has such a talented way of summing everything up and explaining it in such a way even non-book readers can make sense of everything.
I'm sure most of you have seen his Season 6 Trailer Summary. Just curious what you think of it and if you agree or disagree with his predictions based on what we know so far going in to season 6?

Yeah I agree with a majority of his predictions, the only thing he was really wrong about was Brienne getting caught in Snowbowl, which we know she goes south into the Riverlands and comes across Meribald, The Outlaws, and Sandor. That's also something they are keeping heavily under wraps not showing any footage of in these trailers.

Not even The Siege of Riverrun (a fairly large, in terms of scope, event) has been showed in the trailers/teasers/pictures. No Freys, no Outlaws, nothing. Thank the Gods Ian McShane gave us some nice semi spoilers at least!

You're right on that, there's absolutely nothing in the trailer or the new promo that gives us any clues whatsoever about the Riverlands plots and story. I don't know if that was intentional to mislead people or they just didn't feel it was good content for a trailer since they want to focus on the "main" stories everyone's familiar with from seasons past? He most likely knows all of the leaks/spoilers we do since he's a regular on all of the same fanbase groups but since it wasn't covered in the trailer, he just 'speculates' about Brienne because her last known whereabouts and proof from trailer is there near Winterfell so he went with it. Plus we don't have any filming evidence of Brienne in the Riverlands or with Meribald, do we?

Of course, @alcasinoroyale and archiechvyalthan are way better than me remebering that things, so maybe I'm wrong.

Plus we don't have any filming evidence of Brienne in the Riverlands or with Meribald, do we?We do know from filming that her and Podrick go to Riverrun and meet with Jaime and Bronn, and then she offers her services to The Blackfish. So Brienne could be involved in The Blackfish's escape, which might make it able for him to meet up with the Outlaws and lead an attack on The Twins, assuming that's where Walder Frey's wedding takes place to celebrate the victory at Riverrun. Also considering McShane gives no fucks haha and says he brings someone back, strongly hinting at Sandor, we can assume that Brienne and Pod will encounter Meribald on their way to Riverrun.

But none of that's been seen in filming leaks the way so much else has like Tommen/Margaery going over to the Faith side ... Arya escaping from the House of Black and White ... Snowbowl footage, etc. etc. ... all of that's been proven pretty much without a doubt before the trailer and then the trailer just confirmed most of it. But with Brienne and the Riverlands ... though there were plenty of spoilery photos taken of some sort of siege and other bits and pieces, we never saw the actors themselves on set there to confirm anything. I'm thinking that's why Alt Shift X wisely decided to just leave it out and go with what can be most easily assumed (at least for now) from the trailer. The only real evidence we have of Brienne is several shots of her fighting someone in the snowy forest where Sansa and Theon are fleeing.

I'm just going off of what WotW and LSR said about Brienne's storyline, but it's true we never saw leaks from filming of Gwendoline or Nikolaj physically being there.

Right and I do agree with you she's likely headed that way and probably will not be at Winterfell for Snow-bowl. But without any positive film shots as evidence, I think I'm in agreement with Alt Shift X leaving her there as 'possibly' involved with it since that's the only place we've seen her for certain so far. I guess they left all that Riverlands stuff out of the trailer because it's new story material ... but then so is Euron and they certainly spoilered quite a bit of him in just a brief few seconds!

The one reason I could think of for leaving the Riverlands out is that it would spoil Jaime leaving Cersei for casual viewers and in the trailer we've only seen him in King's Landing.

We don't have pics of the actors in the Riverlands, but we know enough about Snowbowl to know Bri wasn't there.

I think he's right
But i don't think Drogon is going to burn many people down, probably just the Khal and bloodriders. Dany comes back with the dothraki to Mereen so i think roasting them all is going to be bad if she wants them to love her as a leader.

These are enough evidence for me. Yeah, I think that's probably the one area he didn't want to rely on all the behind-the-scenes rumors and footage to make a speculation and was keeping to only what was shown in the trailer ... which was nothing of Riverrun or Riverlands. It's apparent Brienne is up there at Winterfell now so it's a safe bet for his guess on that. I think Brienne fights Bolton men chasing Theon and Sans and she then helps Sansa get to the Umbers or somewhere else safe and then Sansa orders her to go find Arya once Brienne tells her she found Arya with The Hound and that's how they all come together in the Riverlands for that new story arc.
