But I want it in 610, I think it would be perfect. Jon executes Ramsay, turns to Littlefinger and is like "Oh, by the way..." Stabs. *hands Sansa the knife* More stabs.

For me, Sansa killing Littlefinger just after the battle would be one of the most satisfying things that could happen on the show/books,

I think Sansa will be involved in his death, but not until S7. She really needs to find out the extent of his betrayal of her family.

Not to sound like my usual self, but I really hope that that's just bullshit. It sounds sooooo bad. That's what people said after the Hardhome description leaked. Not that I believe this 100 percent because a lot of it doesn't add up. But there are many ways to make just that description into something great. And if anyone can it's Sapochnik. Totally agree with you. Last year, when the Hardhome leak happened, some people thought that "wights falling from a cliff and being reanimated by the Nigh's King" sounded cheesy and cheap. Then the episode came, and we all know how good it was. I trust Sapochnik. Of course, there is a chance that the spoiler is fake, there a couple of things here and there that sounds weird, but watching the hours pass and seeing that Sue have not debunked it, I tend to think that a good part of it is true.

Someone will have to stab first then hand it off, or she'll just order someone else to kill him.

Or maybe it's more a situation like Sansa could save LF but decides not to, which gets him killed.

Oh, I know Her ordering Jon to do it would be fine, but he has no business doing it first of his own accord IMO.

The wights bit was completely new, though. It wasn't based on anything that had been previously reported. This guy didn't take any chances....

Of course Ramsay would die around Snowbowl. It's not like Jon will die again and someone has to lose. But this sounds fake anyway.

Calling bullshit on 6 to 1. If thus guy is legit then he's probably just crudely estimating from what he saw which makes it unreliable, especially since so much time has passed. And let's not forget that the majority of the armies on both sides are going to be CGI which is likely still not finished. Very good point. I guess it's worth mentioning the odds in ep. 409. Which were even more screwy but imo still made for a good episode. The point being, so long as its tightly-made and interesting, this all shouldn't be a problem. Not that I even believe these spoilers at this point because I have plenty of doubts. But they COULD be done well all the same. In 409 they were outnumbered 10 to 1, but they had a huge wall on their side and also had no choice to defend. It's one thing to defend a magical ice wall while being outnumbered 10 to 1, but it's a whole another thing to attack a strong castle while being outnumbered 6 to 1, pretty much suicidal. Anyway, I can agree that Sapochnik can still make a great battle out of it even if it's all true, but I'll remain skeptic until then. Yep, the wildlings inside Castle Black didn't have a big advantage, and the ones on the other side of the Wall couldn't do shit with theirs. Stannis was the one who fought them on open field, but they were never fully mobilized against him.

Hey y'all! I'm catching up on a ton of stuff but have no fear, I've been keeping up on most of the spoilers and leaked stuff via reddit, WotW and WIC for the most part so I don't think there's much I haven't already heard or seen in my absence from this group/board.
Probably my favorite most recent spoiler so far has been that blurry image of that unmistakable head of hair on horseback riding in the Snow-bowl (or Bastard Bowl as they insist on calling in on reddit) scene of the trailer. I am quite sure they put that in there entirely on purpose... a fraction of a second's worth of our favorte curly locks just to further incite riots and forum wars. #hairwatch

Ok! I'm on it like a fly on poop. Or, something like that. I'll be caught up in no time! *edit: Oh I remember this thread, so glad it's there and it's one of the best repositories (not suppository) of info out there ... too bad there aren't people on reddit and elsewhere with as much smarts as archie and you guys have! Yay it's good to be back amongst the (mostly) sane and intelligent fans! <3

An account from another extra:

I’ve been a lurker here, for a very long time, but this issue has lured me out of the shadows. I actually was an extra on the battle scene for Season VI (and I won’t tell you any more about it than that!) Some of the things in the Reddit post are true, but several are definitely not, so I think you would all be wise to just ignore it.
Although he was able to post a picture of a jacket, that doesn’t mean that it’s his. Plenty of people in NI have them now, & there are photos of them floating about on the ‘net. I didn’t see the photo, but it sounds like a Stark jacket, which has a direwolf sigil on the back. The jackets are very cool (I have one!), but HBO only permit them to be made for groups of extras who have worked on very long shoots. The Night’s Watch have been getting them for years, &, last year, the Wildlings who took part in the Hardhome shoot were also allowed to get them. For Season VI, several groups have been given permission.
The battle scene is long, & complex. I don’t think that any extra was present for all of it, as it was shot in lots of sections. We were shown a pre-vis video (cartoon) of the whole story, on the first day, but even that, didn’t have all the details.
Real extras are a band of brothers. For a scene like this, with so many people involved, the days are very long & hard, so we become very committed & loyal to each other & the production. We also know how important secrecy is, & that HBO will pursue anyone who even thinks of breaking the NDA. If this idiot was a real extra, the other extras would hunt him down!

Well, that was always my guess. A part of the leak is true and a part is not.
