Watched 1x22 "Born Again" and 1x23 "Roland"
Born again was creepy, with the little girl doing the bidding of a man. This episode had a good combination of mystery and scary.
Roland was a great episode. It was interesting how Mulder and Scully both dealt with Roland differently, Mulder choosing not to discount him as a suspect, and Scully being more focused on appearances. The actor who played Roland was fantastic and his little romance with Tina was cute. The ending, leaving it open as to who was controlling Roland was great.

Wtf have they done to the X-Files?! I guess it's a comedy now.
This shit is pretty cringe worthy too. So far I've liked 1 out of 5 episodes. Will watch the last one, but if they do anymore I don't think I'll be watching.

^can't read you thing yet nicatrion.
But saw the last episode of season 1.
This is a great fucking episode in terms of stakes. The stakes were so high, the death of deep throat was sad and that smoking man...grrr why they have to hide all the evidence. They closed the x-files but we all know it'll be back. Looking forward to how next season starts off.

Will watch the last one, but if they do anymore I don't think I'll be watching. It was absolutely terrible. The horrible cliche Muslim terror plot, the shoehorned doppelganger couple, Mulder dancing show, the fucking nurse... When the episode started, I was praying for the twist that never came. Once they lingered on the shot of the exterior of Ziggurat I was like, "Okay, nope, they're just going to go straight-up lazy suicide bomber plot."

10x06 was an unwatchable mess. Good grief... I don't know if they will keep going with the story (probably, because the ratings have been good), but Chris Carter should never write an episode again. Ever. The guy is a terrible dialogue writer.

But yeah, they are like Mulder and Scully with zero charisma, charm and wit. It's sad, I really wanted the revival to be good, but it was 1 good episode, 2 so so episodes and 3 absolutely awful episodes. And there are people out there saying that FOX is planning to bring back the series again, but as a reboot with Miller and Einstein as the main characters. If that happens... well, count me out.

Yeah, I won't be watching that shite. It's too bad. I know Lauren Ambrose is a good actor, so it shouldn't have been so terrible. Let's pretend the reboot was just that one episode (Home Again the one you liked too?) and forget the rest of it happened. And why the hell did he name the finale "My Struggle"?

Yep, it was that one. Poor Lauren Ambrose. It must have been depressing for her remembering that she was in Six Feet Under, one of the best written shows ever, and now she found herself working with that steaming pile of shit that Chris Carter thinks is a script.

This new run of the X-Files was so disappointing, and I do not like Miller and Einstein. If they bring this back again, they should lose those two, have more Skinner, and actually try to focus on an actual arc. I know X Files never did that before, but they'll benefit from it if they're only coming back for 6 episodes at a time.

So i finally watched the new 6 episode mini series. My god wtf just happened. I thought the 1st, 2nd and last episodes were decent, in that they actually moved towards the end goal of uncovering the big mystery of the series. Which is what i thought this last season would mainly be doing. But i've heard online the big mystery wasn't even in-line with the previous seasons mythology. I'm yet to run through all the old seasons though. Episode 5 was some of the worst TV i've seen recently. Like i just do not understand the decision there. Also Miller and Einstein suck. Although i was warming up to Einstein in episode 6. One thing Scully manages to do is be incredibly smart, cynical and logical but not sound whiny and arrogant about it. This is something Einstein manages not to do. And it doesn't work. How can they possibly come back from this? Everyone is dying, we don't know if Einstein has healed. The funny thing in these shows is that the doctor miraculously comes up with a vaccine on a supposedly complex virus hidden for decades in a day. It's just not realistic. I'm willing to put that aside though. Does the UFO at the end come to take Scully away or is it there to kill them... The new series really didn't give me much to desire, and i will continue to watch the old series. I've seen the first 9 episodes in season 2. It's not as good as the first season so far, because it's mostly spent this time with Mulder on his own, and this show really works better when Mulder and Scully are together. The two episodes i liked best were the ones where Mulder is called in to help the hostage situation and ends with Scully taken. Kyrcek is a good character, i enjoyed the surprise double agent drop they made. Also Mulder had a really hot fling with this vampire chick which was just
