I love that Episode of The Office! Jim and Dwight impersonating eachother. So funny. Slightly embarrassing how much I have in common with Dwight. View AttachmentI've actually never seen a single episode of Battlestar Galactica. *runs away*

Have always found Emilia's dark eyebrows a bit distracting when she is in 'Valyrian' persona, seem they could lighten those up just a little. I'm mostly over it now, but sometimes I find myself staring at them and being taken out of the story. I wish they would dye just the very tops of her eyebrows a silvery blonde. I actually know a couple people in real life with dark eyebrows and blonde hair, but they all have some blonde mixed in if you look closely. Hers would look more real if they did that, and they wouldn't have to completely ruin her signature brows. She does have very blue eyes, I know the 'violet' Valyrian contacts didn't work , way back in season 1, just a well they didn't CGI in purple which probably could be done quite well these days (remember the purple Dune eyes?). But I don't think it would work and not sure why but it's just well. I love that 'imperial' pose of Emilia I posted , from season 3, as well as the otherworldly wistful one from season 3.

So it looks that Shireen's sacrifice wasn't awful fan fiction and malicious sabotage to Stannis from D&D. I feel tempted to post that link right in the Rant and Rave thread in that site, but I can't enter there without feeling sick. So I'll pass

"The script description for Jon Snow arriving by boat to Hardhome said “He looks like George Washington crossing the Delaware, except with much better hair.” I'm a bit pissy to read that about Stannis and Melisandre though, just because it makes zero sense from Stannis' standpoint. I always thought that would be something Mel and Selyse did on their own.

I think he has decided to just let the show do what it does and then state he wanted to do the same.

I remember Elio saying in a video review that Stannis was never supposed to be "the mannis", but has always been a tragic character with the right intentions but going horribly wrong. He didn't seem surprised about 5x09 and about the fact that this was supposedly George's plan all along. However, the circumstances around Shireen's death will probably be different ones in the books, but I have no doubt that Book!Stannis is capable of the same thing.

I still think Shireen will be burned by Mel & Selyse to resurrect Jon. Stannis will die at Winterfell.

Yes, but probably for more than a warm day. Jesus the show's writing is just so bad

I watched 4x07 the other day. It's an almost perfect episode IMO. Probably even my second favourite S4 episode. I loved the structure with the three Tyrion scenes and the other scenes inbetween + the final scene at the Eyrie. My favourite parts: - Oberyn visiting Tyrion in the cell. Pedro's acting was incredible here. - Arya talking about nothingness. This one got some criticism and even ridicule in the fandom, but I have no idea why. It perfectly shows us the state of mind Arya's in and how she's adopting a nihilistic worldview. - Sansa building Winterfell out of snow. A 9 out of 10 for me.

This scene always bothered me: Old Bear: "Did you send the ravens?" Sam: "No." Old Bear: "You had one job!" Well how the fuck was he supposed to send those fucking ravens when he was down shoveling snow with Grenn and Edd? Has anyone ever asked D&D about this?

Those three scenes were fantastic. The "I will be your champion" scene in the Black Cells was the exact point where I knew that Pedro Pascal had exceeded all my expectations. It's one of the most moving scenes in the show, and knowing what is going to happen in the Trial by Combat makes everything ever more heartbreaking. The Arya scene was great, an interesting scene in which we can begin to notice her nihilistic vision and her approach to death as a form of liberation, somehow foreshadowing her future in The House of Black and White. And Sansa building Winterfell was a moment full of nostalgia, melancholy and homesickness, and the moment where we realize that her future lies in The North (something that we'll see in Season 6).

I'm watching 4x04. I genuinely love it when we get a glimpse of Dany's Mad-Queen-mode and hubris.
