I think House Centipedes are sweethearts. They're the kind of flimsier kind, not with hard shells or anything. All they do is scuttle around. Sometimes if they're in the shower with me I don't bother saving them like Batman with Ras' al Ghul. But otherwise we mind our business and they go their way and I go mine. This one you've linked is a clawed monstrosity though. If I saw it my house I'd drop a textbook on its ass. I would not have expected this! Someone told me once that they sting. Or maybe that was millipedes. I don't know what stings and what doesn't. But House Centipedes look like they're made of hair and lint. There's no way they do any damage. The hard shelly ones are evil though. But then I've only ever seen them outdoors so I've got no real problem with them either.

Just more harmless-looking. I'll spoiler-tag him though so poor little Roosey doesn't have a Vietnam War flashback.

YOU TAKE SHOWERS WITH THAT THING?!?!?! There's a few in my house. They're tiny though. I'd worry more about the ten foot rattlesnakes down your way.

And I'll add that when they're unfortunate enough to be in the tub, they go right down the drain.

Yeah and rattlesnakes aren't getting anywhere near my shower drains, thanks the gods for that! We do have those icky little silverfishes or earwigs or whatever the fuck those are... they get the sprayer immediately because my lazy cat fails at his job.

The worst is when you're watching UPS, and then it says "transferred to local post office." Like, no now it's going to take longer. Just bring it to me directly. Why you gotta drag them into it? Does your PO suck too? Mine is a circle of Hell. Our mail carrier hasn't delivered a parcel of mail to our home on a rainy or snowy day since 2003. I must admit that I am fully impressed with his complete lack of shits to give. Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.
YES and he never shuts anyone on my block's mailboxes, so there's been several times where it's been really windy and I've had to go pick my mail out of the people down the streets' bushes.

I guess I don't count them as centipedes either.

My friend took this picture here in Austin. It's in front of one of those giant multi-million dollar homes on the lake.
