I guess it must have been their goal to cast unknown people, other than Isaac who is fucking everywhere these days She's pretty much the only unknown. Well, Boyega to an extent, although I've seen him in Attack the Block. Adam Driver is in a bunch of stuff, Gwen is obviously pretty well known, and then the cast of the originals.

I know but they are space knights, I'm traditional gal when it comes to knights But I probably gonna watch it before one day seeing that new one, whenever they release something new these days I am gonna see it even though I'm not very familiar with the older versions like Star Trek or Mad Max

Gwen is known to us for sure but I doubt most SW fans knew who her or Driver were when they were cast

I just really don't think I'd be into it. I am into stuff that is dark unless it's a comedy, I don't usually enjoy those action adventure flicks. I did like Harry Potter and LotR but that's because there is magic there and knights and shit, space for me should be reserved for some hardcore horror sci-fi stuff Episode V The Empire Strikes Back (arguably the best of the series) is a pretty dark film. Star Wars also has magic (the Force) & knights (Jedi). I have to admit I haven't watched the original films in many years but as I kid I absolutely love them. I even had the Star Wars underwear. Also, I've never watched Episode I - III and I don't want to watch them either.

I really didn't like Attack The Block, so I'm looking forward to seeing Boyega in this because chances are I will enjoy this sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much more.
I'm so torn between wanting to look up more spoilers aside from the general outline I've already read, or just to say in the dark about it.

You know with just one screening there is a big chance these can still be fake...but in my experience the first gigantic post about plotline after the first screening is usually spot on

I'm curious though, the guy that watched it from Ain't it Cool News said "90% of the spoilers you've heard are false" or something like that, so that makes me even more curious.

There's plenty wrong with them, but there's enough in there that I find them enjoyable. Especially Episode III.

I is far better than II though. Darth Maul, man. I agree but it can pretty easily be skipped because it has barely any attachment to the story that can't already be gotten. The intent of the machete order seems to be to preserve Luke's story while framing Anakin's inside if after the father reveal which sounds cool. II is much more important to Anakin as a character than I is. I'll still watch I tomorrow just because why not but I think I'm gonna try the machete order just for a new experience.

I'd rank it higher then Return of the Jedi (I never rooted for something as hard as I did for the empire to kill those Ewoks and I was a child at the time...the right age to be all heart eyes over cute little Ewoks) and right after Empire Strikes Back and A New Hope. I am trying to stay as spoiler free as I can. My problem is, I can't resist spoilers, so we'll see how long it lasts. I just hope John Boyega is much better in this then he was in the 24 miniseries that aired last year. Granted, he did not have much to work with and they did not even follow up on his character at all. And that miniseries was dumb enough not to use Michelle Fairley to her full effect either. Adam Driver and Oscar Issac are in everything, they just have not been in movies this big before. Oscar Issac is playing the bad guy in the new X-Men movie. It's funny to me that out of the Girls cast, Adam Driver is the one to turn out to be the movie star of the bunch. Another one in this movie that's in a ton of stuff lately, Domnhall Gleeson.

Episode III was the prequel I remember most enjoying, but I've never re-watched any of them all the way through. (By contrast, I tune into the OT every time it's on tv.) RotS had Anakin turning into Vader, which was the only reason to care about Anakin in the first place.

Star wars is premiering in under two hours here! Although i'm seeing it in 5 days time. Pretty exciting, they set up a photobooth at the central shopping place in my city and were doing photobooth for free with printing.
