It definitely doesn't seem like they are going to film much more in Peñiscola. There is not filming tomorrow and according to Javi, on Monday they will only shot one scene and that is it. Not sure about Tuesday though (which is the last day, apparently) Anyway, tomorrow I expect a full report from Los Siete Reinos!

Grey Worm is not fucked. They killed off Mossador last season, they need someone representing the Unsullied/ex-slaves.

Well the Alcazaba could be Meereen as well, it was a bit unclear in the article I linked a couple of days ago.

It's scheduled for early November so it's Belfast studio stuff probably. That could be the show's version of the siege of Meereen for all we know. The Dothraki will certainly be involved.

The info came from one of the casting calls for Dothraki warriors.

And that's after the Almeria shoot and thus necessarily in Belfast? Yes, the Spain filming ends in October. Maybe the setpiece involves tons of special effects so studio shooting is preferable, I don't know. In any case, this would be third time this year they use Northern Ireland for Dothraki stuff (first Magilligan, then Sallagh Braes).

I don't think that it necessary mean that it will be two weeks of filming, though. It could be only some days of those weeks. Filming in the set of Belfast probably is not as rigid as in exterior locations, if one of the main actors is not available 3 or 2 days of the week they could work around it splitting the filming in two different weeks.

NI's been used for Meereen too in ep. 404 when Grey Worm and co. infiltrated the sewers of the city, the outer wall and sewer entrance were IIRC the same wall that was used for Blackwater that's located in the quarry where CB stuff is filmed. It could be we get something like that again.

It does seem odd how little time is being spent in Peniscola especially for as much setup as they've done. I guess it's entirely possible this riot/granary/slave thing is all there is to it for Team Mereen, at least outdoors. The rest may all be indoors stuff.
This leads me to believe more and more there will be no siege of Meereen though. That would be a lot of outdoor shooting. Remember how much outdoor stuff there was for Daznak's last season? That wasn't a siege but required a ton of people, and was a fairly intense period of filming right? A siege in Meereen would take at least that much wouldn't it?

The casting call did emphasize the size of the scene, though, so I can see it taking a while to film. Obviously nothing comparable to Snowbowl, but something close to 2 weeks.

Knowing which director(s) is/are in Peniscola would be helpful to guess if there's gonna be a siege.
