I had to check like 3 different websites to make sure this isn't a joke I just noticed this. Are you sure this isn't a joke?!? I just looked it up. I guess it's not a joke. *boggle*

Is the three-time Oscar nominee Sylvester Stallone not good enough for the comic book movies??

Is the three-time Oscar nominee Sylvester Stallone not good enough for the comic book movies?? Oh, it's not that at all. He's easy to make fun of, but I really like Rocky, First Blood, and Judge Dredd. I guess it strikes me as weird because unless his role is a small cameo, I just can't imagine a movie with him in it not being a "Sylvester Stallone movie." Plus that poster is pretty funny.

If anyone could make Stallone work in GoTG2 it's James Gunn.

It's probably actually Loki eyerolling that Thor has fangirls but I like to think it's Hiddles being ignored in favor of Hemsworth

Usually I get annoyed when people don't like seeing a white character changed to brown. There aren't enough brown characters, historically, okay!?! But this one IS dumb. In Norse mythology a Valkyrie is the whitest of the white, even among other white people.

I'm not particularly bothered by Valkyrie - seems she'll be a minor role in an already packed movie so I doubt she'll really have any impact on the story itself. My only problem with Marvel's changes is that they're taking the kid from Grand Budapest Hotel and giving him the role of Peter Parker's bully. The actor is smaller than Tom Holland for fuck's sake But hey, if the kid can put on a few pounds and be intimidating, then MAYBE it'll work. Although they could always just completely change the character's personality and turn him into a nerd rather than a jock, but keep the name. Obviously the die-hard comic fans wouldn't like that, but I think Iron Man 3 showed that Marvel don't give a shit about ticking to the comics 100% Also wrt Stallone, I'm willing to bet his cameo role is gonna be a reference to Judge Dredd. One of those space-cop guys from the first movie with Dredd's helmet. Just one scene; a quick cameo, like they did with Howard the Duck

I'd be cool with a Judge Dredd-like cameo. Oh my God! Another human has seen Howard the Duck!?!

I saw him at the end of the credits in the first Guardians movie (the first and only time I have stayed until the VERY end) and I felt robbed But I read up on it and I see the funny side now - that it's a funny reference to an awful movie that nobody's seen

I really didn't realize there was such a thing about this movie (giving away how I never sit through the Marvel credits...I can't help it. I always have to go pee.) I also didn't know these things were inappropriate when I was a kid.

Good god, five minutes of that movie is the maximum I want to see Whats creepier: Lea Thompson getting it on with a duck or with her son?

Political correctness is blinding Marvel, that's their vice. I'm surprised they haven't made anyone gay in there yet. They are putting so many safety nets - representation! shirtless guys for fangirls! - to already great movies. That's why it's so weird to me they didn't do Black Widow solo yet, it is kinda disgraceful that the company which is run by seemingly drunk monkeys is ahead of them in this regard

I'm getting de ja vu like I've had this EXACT online conversation before. Anyway, yes, the duck sex is weird. When I was a kid I was just like "okay".

I love how some random on 4chan is trying to "leak" the Ragnarok script...naaahhhhh....
I don't mind MCU changing the skin color of the actors, it's never bothered me. Nick Fury was white in the comic, but Samuel L. Jackson is perfect in the role. Plus, Valkyrie isn't going to have a huge role in Ragnarok it seems.
