I'm not a comic reader so I don't really care if the characters look different. It looks fun without being totally milquetoast like the Marvel films. Then you look at the atypical poster designs and I can't help but respect the filmmakers/marketing department for making some bold choices. It tells me that they've got confidence in the film.

You know what? That was an insanely well edited trailer, loved how they used Bohemian Rhapsody while avoiding all of the modern trailer cliches such as constant dips to black and the BRRRRRRR sound effect. I'm impressed. This movie looks like a lot of fun. I also got a Spring Breakers vibe from the colors/fonts. Came here to say this. The trailer was really well done. Probably going to watch this movie now.

Davey you Al'ed I think the colors mostly have to do with Harley and the film is going with the newer origin story for her involving chemicals - i love how her shirt and joker's coat bleed colors in that shot Also Leto looks FANTASTIC

I was surprisingly impressed by how well edited the trailer was too, but one of the reasons I'm going to see this movie is definitely Margot Robbie, who I think will be fantastic as Harley Quinn. Hopefully it's good though, which it has potential to be based off some of the casting and trailers alone.

I'm not too familiar with Harley's origin except she was the Joker's psychologist and he twisted her mind. But yeah, I'm digging the visual aesthetic of the movie so far. Came here to say this. Again, it seems like there is some confidence in this film for the studio to let it stand apart from the pack.

David Ayer about Margot. (Explains a lot.) “She’s a tough girl, and she’s incredibly smart and mature beyond her years. She has ridiculous depth, and she’s never been coddled, so she’s very physically courageous. The things she was doing herself as far as stunts, you wouldn’t believe. There’s only a handful of actors who do that sort of work themselves.”
