When you rooting for Sandor, but your Stoneheart fans are pissed at the BwB's portrayal. I think there are legit reasons to be pissed at the BwB's portrayal.

When you rooting for Sandor, but your Stoneheart fans are pissed at the BwB's portrayal. Aww ... y'all wallow in your glory. Haters gonna hate. Envie, criticizing one aspect of the show, in this case the portrayal of the Brotherhood without Banners in the most recent episode, is not the same as hating. Some of you guys were criticizing Jon's storyline in other threads recently, was that hating too? I'm not hating on Sandor's return, I'm criticizing the showrunner's decision to portray the Brotherhood as a bunch of murderes who go after random commoners, because that's simply not what they are in the books, even with Stoneheart as their leader, they don't slaughter the smallfolk for no reason. Not to mention that this portrayal kind of contradicts what we learned from Walder Frey a few episodes ago, that the Brotherhood is allegedly rallying the smallfolk against the Freys. Pointing that out is not hating, and it doesn't have anything to do with Sandor. We all knew that he was coming back, but we didn't know that they would artificially create this conflict between him and the BwB, and that's something that is not above criticism, especially if he ends up killing them all. Just wanted to say this. Davey, I know you're happy that Sandor is back, and I'm glad that you all are so happy, I just ... I don't know. Reading stuff like that hurts.

I think it's quite clear that this group led by Lem is a separate group. I agree that the book BwB never slaughtered commoners, but they definitely stole from them, even when Beric was the leader.

I think it's quite clear that this group led by Lem is a separate group. I agree that the book BwB never slaughtered commoners, but they definitely stole from them, even when Beric was the leader. And after Beric it got much worse: "We were king’s men when we began," the man told her, "but king’s men must have a king, and we have none. We were brothers too, but now our brotherhood is broken. I do not know who we are, if truth be told, nor where we might be going. I only know the road is dark.
I remember justice. It had a pleasant taste. Justice was what we were about when Beric led us, or so we told ourselves. We were king’s men, knights, and heroes... but some knights are dark and full of terror, my lady. War makes monsters of us all.
Some of my brothers were good men when this began. Some were... less good, shall we say?"

Exactly. I believe the aforementioned contradicton within the show was done on purpose. Cogman, the same writer, actually wrote both scenes. I think it is unlikely that he didn't notice that. So yeah, there will be some explanation in the last three episodes.
