I don't think we spend this much time with Thorne telling Jon that he's making a mistake with the Wildlings, emphasizing his lack of support within the NW and having both he and Sam give Olly the "sometimes we have to do things that are unpopular for the greater good" speech to not follow through on FTW this season. They even let Jon get back to the Wall an episode early (which they could have easily delayed until the finale if that's where they wanted to end things for him this season. Just too many dirty looks, cryptic comments and foreshadowing for this to not be depicted this season. My only concern is if the plan is to have the finale end exactly where Jon's last ADwD ends (with him seemingly dead). That's a pretty crushing blow to deliver to the fanbase in a season where they've had to watch a fair amount of misery. I don't think he'll necessarily be resurrected on the spot per se, but I wonder if they'll imply something ambiguous that will lead the audience to believe he will be resurrected. I tend to think FTW will also happen in 5.10. My #1 reason why D&D would push it till season 6 is because they could bring Kit back without any fears of spoiling Jon's ultimate fate. Of course if he's shown as 100% dead (only by beheading really) or if he's shown still alive (spoiling TWOW), it is a moot point.

My original line "HBO is going to force..." meant that D&D only want 7 seasons and HBO will step up and make it worth their while to tell an additional half of season or full season. That's where I was coming from. HBO won't want this series to finish. But if they are smart, they start working on another series from ASOIAF World (another time setting) and I believe they will. Too much cash to not to keep making episodes. But D&D are done at 7 or 8 seasons. Well this is embarassing then xD I intended it as a "HBO will force D&D to wrap it up in season 8 tops". I apologize, I wrote half a book of useless explanations because of a misunderstanding xD I don't think anyone thinks they have to finish in 3 seasons for any reason other than the fact that D&D have said that's how long it will take. Of course it could go longer, but there's no real reason to assume it will. That is clear to me now xD Please forgive the Pasta eater xD Unsullied don't expect it. Exactly: they don't but book-readers do. That's why I believe that to "break the internet", this finale has to show something unexpected by everyone, to shock unsullied and book-readers both. That, or D&D are underestimating the audience again, which is entirely possible. Are those Wildlings or Night Watchers in the background? They look like Wildlings to me but I might be wrong °_°

10 seasons is not happening. 10 seasons is what GRRM and HBO would like, but pretty much everything D&D have said has made it abundantly clear that the series will end with 8 seasons, max. I am aware of that. Again, my point was just that D&D have no restraints whatsoever regarding le lenght of the show. If they wanted to do 10 seasons they could. So the whole "they have to finish in three seasons" is not a thing, period. Sorry if I expressed myself in a misleading way, I'm pretty good with the english lenguage but I come from Pizza Country after all XD I don't think we spend this much time with Thorne telling Jon that he's making a mistake with the Wildlings, emphasizing his lack of support within the NW and having both he and Sam give Olly the "sometimes we have to do things that are unpopular for the greater good" speech to not follow through on FTW this season. I know it's pretty much confirmed, and that's why I am not 100% convinced. I am convinced that, to "break the internet", they can't just show something we all expect to see. I think that if we see FTW next sunfay, it will have something unexpected added to it (like, as you said, a hint on Jon's fate that goes beyond ADWD and makes Linda lose her shit again xD). And if we don't see FTW, then something else will happen. Something other than FTW that is gonna shock all of the audience, not only the Unsullied. Lets not forget it was Portman who said it would "break the internet". Not D&D or HBO. He could be talking out of his ass.

Is the line from the promo "You betrayed her" from Tyrion? At first I thought it could some random person saying to Brienne (would give LSH hope) but now it seems it is Tyrion, so maybe he finds out who the Harpy is...? Missandei? Anyway, do you think that is his voice?

Are those Wildlings or Night Watchers in the background? Wildlings, I'd say. The right hand redhead looks female so I think those are wildlings. Odd, it looks to me like a leftover scene from Hardhome except for that cut on his face which I don't think he had when they were in the boat or leaving Hardhome, right? It's outside and bright daylight so who knows ... We are almost 100% certain FTW happens but I can see the reasoning behind wanting to hold it off until next season because of all the spoilers on Kit Harrington's casting/filming next season.

Or maybe we get a bloody struggle between the loyal nightwatchmen + wildlings vs the mutineers just after Jon gets stabbed. Some potent symbolism there

Sati - I love that you don't give up. If she's in, I will definitely think of you right away. I think it's Moat Caillin too, but I don't know if that means Greyjoys/LSH/LF, but this episode is going be so tight with time. Plus Konradsmith and King Tommen think we are crazy here and they are often the sound of reason.

Tyrion has a split personality... Maybe he is conspiring against himself. Or even bigger of a shocker. Varys, using Tyrion to get close to Dany, so that he can betray her? Then as a springboard, Aegon can take her dragons and throne! Oh shit. I figured out the story. Give me a gold star.
