Where do you see that going?
I felt for Reek/Theon when he climbed those stairs and there was Ramsay waiting for him. It followed very naturally, I think, that of course he confessed all to Ramsay--cripes, so would I, right after I peed myself and passed out in terror. I think that set-up was so well done, because now when Theon actually does step forward to help, the stakes have been raised even higher, the terror level ratcheted up exponentially. Nicely done.
Theon went straight to Ramsay and it was filmed ambiguously on purpose, I believe. Agreed. It was filmed to make us think Theon was going to help her, but he was going to Ramsey the whole time.

I don't know about you all (no one's really mentioned it so far) but seeing Sansa that way was about 20 times more heartbreaking for me than last week's rape scene. Seriously. It's one thing to have it happening off-screen and in the last 5 minutes but it's entirely another to see her laying there bruised and battered, still in her wedding dress or what looks like whatever's left of the petticoats underneath ... my god has anyone even helped her bathe?? I'm just devastated really. Maybe it hit me harder than some. I know she's not entirely broken - she still has fight left in her even if challenging Ramsay's legitimacy and calling him a bastard to his face was probably the worst thing she could possibly ever do. My god my heart sank right then and I whispered "Ohhh Sansa, no no no..." As for the rest of the episode - absolutely stellar. Every scene had me on the edge of my seat either crying or cheering! I said in the poll thread, even the sandsnakes and their corny contrived antidote scene didn't phase me, it's almost like the comedy relief of the show now! Also, Bronn, please SING to me every single day. I am in love. I think it has to do woth the fact that we saw most of the horror through Theon's face, no we see Sansa almost broken. Sophie and Alfie were stellar. The 'you are Theon Greyjoy' line hit me so hard, because after all those horrible nights Sansa still has some strength left. We also saw that in the scene where she caught that little weapon (don't know how to call it in English) You go girl! I know, I know! I was still wiping away tears when I saw her grab that. I knew exactly what Ramsay was about to show her so it helped tremendously to see her still trying to fight in any way she can... no matter how small or stupid (calling Ramsay a bastard, woah... the ONE thing he hates more than anything else!) .... oh lord. Sansa. Sansa. Sansa.

Sansa took a weapon? When? When she walked with Ramsay on that balcony thing. It layed on a wooden post. Maybe anyone with knowledge can point me to right term. It was something sharp for sure.

My god my heart sank right then and I whispered "Ohhh Sansa, no no no..." Yes, that was rough. I do think Sansa was being purposeful, rather than just spunky, in riling Ramsay up. I think she was trying to push Ramsay to kill Walda so that Roose kills Ramsay.

Sansa took a weapon? When? When she was walking with Ramsay. It looked like a little dagger or sharp piece of medal. Someone's getting cut.

Ramsay absolutely hates being called a bastard more than anything else, that's why the pink letter was so perfectly written - his chance to call Jon Snow a bastard - which he himself had endured his whole life. I guess Sansa doesn't feel like it can get any worse by challenging him that way but it can... yes it can get much worse for her. Holy shit Brienne get your ass in there and save that girl.... Theon... ANYONE!

Haven't seen the episode yet but I need to know. Is Yezzan in it? He is. Yezzen was actually quite good. I liked the auction block scene and laughed right out loud when Tyrion started kicking the shit out of that other guy haha .... Tyrion, ever resourceful to save himself!

Tyrion, ever resourceful to save himself! I just don't know what they will do with him in next episodes. He doesn't look like is dying in the near future and not the kind of man who collects odd people. Obviously Tyrion is the odd one now, but since he met Dany, he surely isn't his anymore.

Well the obvious part of the scene is when Tyrion holds up his shackled hands to Dany ... that was to show the audience the jig is up and as soon as Dany finds out slavery is in fact still feeding the fighting pits, Yezzen is the next scooby snack on dragon menu!

If someone seizes the throne, Tommen's acts are void unless the new King decides to honor them. Can you imagine Stannis or Dany honoring the legitimization of Ramsay Snow?

Do you think Ramsay is smart enough to listen through his rage at what she just implied? I sincerely hope so. So far he hasn't seemed too politically savvy at all considering how he decided to get those taxes paid from the Northern Lords. Ramsay is a thug - it's Roose who has the mastermind and should be concerned if Tommen's legitimacy is struck down.

Any other episode Tyrion meeting Dany would have closed out the episode. It's monumental.

And yes, it may well backfire. But Sansa is trying things. She tried Theon + candle. She grabbed the pointy tool. And she tried to set Ramsay against Roose. And she tried the latter two before she knew that Theon had betrayed her - she knew better than to just assume that would work out. She's obviously suffering greatly, but she's also trying her damndest to do something with the measly cards she has - she's not just sitting back and hoping for rescue.

Well said and I'm encouraged by the little ways she's displayed some courage to keep fighting. When Ramsay told her Jon was now Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, my heart broke again because she looked hopeful and now Jon's a zillion miles away and heading to Hardhome and then.... awww crap.

Sansa is showing.... no I can't say the word, just...can't. Sansa is showing the A word.
