I enjoyed it my choices Didn't lie to Marg and got dismissed Told Morgyn to fuck off and got beheaded Stabbed Cotter to continue blood magic, stayed at north grove Killed gryf saved Ryon even though I decided to stay at the north grove I was still pretty underwhelmed by it, I mean we still don't really know wtf it is. I was convinced we were gonna meet up with Bran at some point up there I felt it would have been out of character for Mira to agree to the marriage, her death was honestly my favorite part of the episode. Definitely sets up a season two nicely

Okay now I've finished and... I actually didn't like it much. I know there will be a second season but I was hoping for at least a LITTLE resolution. I still don't give half a fuck about Gared and the North Grove. It would have been nice to finally learn a little bit about why its an important place after six episodes but nope, just toss a couple random bastards in here and some bloodmagic and that's good enough. It's not. I need SOMETHING. I did finally enjoy Mira's story though. It was boring for most of the season but I actually found myself wanting to go back to her for once. And of course the Ironrath stuff was great and Rodrik is a very well-done character but the ending of this felt more like an episode end than a season end. I just wanted more. Since there is a season two, fine I get it, leave some stuff open, but I needed more explanation and more closure for the arcs. Maybe that was why I liked Mira's arc so much more in this one, I did get closure. Anyway, my choices: -I lied to Margaery and got Sera dismissed. I was sick of her shit after covering for her so many times and she was one of the reason I didn't like Mira's story as much. She was annoying and I didn't care about her at all. -I refused to marry Morgryn. Fuck that. I died. -I butchered Cotter for the blood magic ritual. Why the fuck would I not? Gared's story was boring enough as is, I needed to add a little spice to it. And he wanted me to so whatever. -I let Lord Whitehill live in order to rescue Ryon. I didn't understand the obsession with Ludd here. I don't know why Beskha wasn't more pissed off at Gryff since I assumed it was obvious that he killed Asher. Plus if Rodrik goes down, no more Forrester men. And I figured its not like if I let Gryff live we would have stopped them. I wanted to take my chance to kill him. And I got to twice since Telltale's engine sucks and my game crashed before the save! -I abandoned the North Grove to march to Ironrath. Again, why the fuck would I not? I wasn't a huge fan of the two bastard characters either. They felt shoehorned in and weren't really well done. One more criticism, and I know this is a common one, was that it felt too much like knockoff Starks. Especially Ryon and Beskha running off together. It's literally Rickon and Osha. Overall, this wasn't Telltale's best work. They had a difficult time balancing all the storylines all season and I think it showed by the end. But whatever, hopefully season two is more concise and they upgrade their fucking technology.

I liked it, but I wish the story had ended here instead of making these cliffhangers. And like Carson said, they copied the Starks shamelessly.
I had Mira marry Morgryn because my Mira is a survivor. Fuck the coal boy, I hated his face anyway.
I chose to kill Ludd and let Ryon die and somehow Beskha still managed to save Ryon in one piece and escape, and killing Ludd changed nothing in the battle. No armies were disbanded after his death. I reloaded, though, because killing Gryff was far more satisfying.
And how can Cotter die because of that silly shoulder wound while Rodrik can survive several arrows and a greatsword cutting through his guts? Anyway, I didn't help the woman make blood magic because she's legit insane and her zombie army is creepy. And what's the deal with all that anyway? They never bothered to explain what the grove is and how she controls the zombies. And are they undead or living people? We haven't seen a power like that in the canon story yet. And I chose to march south, because why the fuck not? They never gave me a reason to stay in the North Grove.
And is there a good ending if you made better choices? What's the deal with that "36% of the players fought cunningly" or something like that?

I assume we don't need spoiler tags anymore right? Anyhow there will be some spoilers in this.
My save game was already fucked because of an EU PS3 crashing glitch from the last episode (which was short and not great IMO, as well as completely buggy) so I once again had all the choices randomised up to the beginning of episode 5, which made the little explanation of your choices at the end meaningless for me. Which is a shame because that was quite nice.
The sound was completely bugged out for the whole of the concluding battle at Ironrath, which meant the impact of every plot twist was kind of nullified. Elissa running out and getting herself killed was just stupid.
Other than that I really enjoyed this episode, the North Grove stuff was the best Gared's storyline has been since episode 2. I thought there was plenty of conclusion, they just have to leave it open-ended for season 2 like I expected. Mira's the best character, so her basically being screwed now is kind of annoying (I didn't get her killed thankfully). The trouble is with this series, as time goes on you just expect the worst so it's rarely surprising when they throw in a twist that leaves you at a disadvantage. The little clip at the end was better because of that.

Interesting that Telltale seem to have finally made a game with a seemingly large variety of outcomes (no idea how they are going to deal with that for season 2) but from what I've read, a lot people are still shitting on it.

The worst thing is that my Mira didn't kill the Lannister guard and even tossed the knife away with any cloud and was still fucked over without any proof. That was annoying.

Jack is the biggest GOT apologist even in defense of the Telltale game I don't think he's even played it yet. He's just posting any review he sees because that's how he operates.

"The questions left on the table at the conclusion of season one, who survived and who didn't, as well as all the other choices you made play a huge role in the second season. We've been planning the second season all along, but I really shouldn't be revealing more than that." If they've been planning everything all along, hopefully this means season two will actually have two vastly different main stories, opposed to the 'you can keep character X or Y but nothing else really matters"
