Yeah they're really doing an excellent job promoting this season especially with the editing and the music of the trailers and promos. Masquer's "You Don't Own Me" was my favourite so far music-wise. I love this trailer though because it's such a tease of things I'm excited to see - Lily and Victor together; Dracula; Kaetnaey(sp?); first clear look at Dr Jekyll; Perdita Weeks' character...and the coffin at the end was such a tease but great way to close the trailer. (I suspect it might turn out to be Dracula's coffin actually) I think it could be Dracula, but it also looks like they're will be a lot more villains this time around. Last season there was really only Evelyn Poole and the nightcomers.

By my count there is Victor v Dorian and Lily Ethan/Sir Malcom/Kaetnaey v Mr Talbot Sr Ethan v Hecate (Sarah Greene is returning I know, and I read that she is in Ethan's arc) Vanessa v Dracula And John Clare/Caliban/The Creature is an unknown at this stage. Hard to say who he might face. The shot of the cemetery seemed to fit with the shots of him in the carriage, so he may have a job as a gravedigger. Perhaps he ends up employed by a certain Vampire who may or may not be in a black coffin?

Yeah we saw Hecate in the trailer when she said to Ethan, "Such music my master makes", I assume she's referring to Dracula. There's also Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde and then Dr. Sweet in the mix, who I imagine one of them will be a villain to the main characters. I have no idea what The Creature is doing. It looks like he's escaping to the country, but it's a mystery.

I'm afraid I don't get that reference/understand the problem there. Is my interwebs dunce hat showing again? it was just the first link I found (actually it was the link the Penny Dreadful Facebook page gave)

So for some reason we have to wait an extra 2 days for the premiere in the UK? M'kay.

So for some reason we have to wait an extra 2 days for the premiere in the UK? M'kay. Yeah, very disappointing. I'd so be willing to stay up and watch a simulcast too *sigh* I've heard promising things about the premiere though, with particular praise for Patti LuPone (a brief part of her scene in the Premiere is available on Showtime's YouTube page)

Over 24hours left to desperately avoid spoilers I don't think my willpower is strong enough for that.

You're not the only one suffering over there They played a promo before GoT and then said "Penny Dreadful returns tomorrow at 10pm" after it finished These people are killing me. Get a grip sky, and fucking simulcast the thing already

Watched it. Was good but having so many disparate locations instead of everyone together was hard to get used to given how this show's worked previously. Good to know they'll begin moving together though. As always Eva and T-Daltz are the highlights.
Dracula better look interesting what with them not showing him at all. But I imagine he'll be underwhelming like the werewolf look was in the end. I liked what we saw of Jekyll though. I'm glad they made him and Frankenstein's old friends because having two loony-tune experimental doctors and having them not know one another would've been a bit too much. But they figured out the right League of Extraordinary Gentleman level to work out those two being friends and that worked for me, probably better than the rest of the ep.
