I hope so, but I wonder if they bother with it, the Jon vs. wildlings conflict and the NK and his wights provide enough action for 18 minutes. I think Dead Things in the Water would be one of the sequences. It would be strange to leave that out. I'm just worried it might be to much CGI tbh. The skeletons in 4.10 were really strange for example.

The more CGI the better for me.

I thought the wights at the Fist of the First Men looked great, hopefully what we get is consistent with that.

Right Right, now worries then.
Really though, now that I think about it, what I really want from this episode: Salladhor motherfucking Saan. I love him and the way he pops up for one scene a season. I think he'd play well of someone like Jon.

Since Jon's taking Stan's fleet to Hardhome, I'd say it's certainly a possibility.

Exactly. Could be some nice comic relief in an otherwise grim episode.

Who cares about Jon and the NK, D&D give me Salladhor Saan!!!
(I'm kidding, I care about the other two as well, but I liked the idea of the pirate appearing too)

In terms of geography how far is Hardhome from CB etc.? Because if WW are there it seems they are almost where the storylines for our characters are. It's pretty far to the north-east. Bookmaps have it more than the distance to the Fist of Man on a straight line landwise. But showwise they are pretty vague so they can manipulate the distances I suppose. It does confirm that the WW cover all the ground in the lands north of the Wall and do not come straight for it. Maybe they really do have a strategy.

And somehow Selyse is thrown in there, even though that shot has nothing to do with Hardhome.

I watched it 3 times to make sure my eyes did not deceive me! You are right, Selyse is there and everything else is Hardhome. Could it be an editing mistake? Or maybe they just want to throw us off. It is odd also that the voiceover is Pryce's and he's a KL character. Though in a way the speech relates since fighting for your species survival is pretty much all that remains when all is said and done north of the Wall.

Scenes like Hardhome make me regret that I watch GoT on a tiny laptop screen.

Scenes like Hardhome make me regret that I watch GoT on a tiny laptop screen. I'm going to be watching on my PC. I could watch on my TV though because Sky have it on demand immediately in the morning. Hmm. But then I like to watch in the darkness of my bedroom.
