I was totally underwhelmed. I thought the plot narrative was very ragged and jumpy. It felt too 'actionified' , with some poor dialog . Compared to the rest in the flock , lacked Class.

I think tying this to CBS All Access will prove to be a mistake. People are sick of being nickled and dimed by competing streaming services, especially since there's no other exclusive content unless you're dying for Big Brother outtakes. I also learned that CBS All Access still has ads. Oh well.

I also learned that CBS All Access still has ads. Oh well. I love my Star Trek shows and it pains me that they are putting this on CBS streaming. I did read that there is one tier you can pay for that has "Minimal ads" and another tier that of course costs more that has no ads. I know I am sick of being nickel and dimed for streaming services. I draw the line at Netflix and Amazon Prime. It's just not in our budget to get to Disney/ABC streaming (they are pulling their stuff off of Netflix for their own streaming service), CBS streaming, and Hulu.

But then , The Expanse is extraordinarily good!

Most CBS shows wind up on Netflix but Discovery won't end up on Netflix in America. It will be streaming internationally, but in America, CBS All Access has exclusive rights to Discovery.
