I know Lena Dunham gets a lot of hate on the interwebs, but I have like no idea what she's been in and what she does, so I don't really have an opinion on her. I thought she did a pretty convicing job playing the mentally unhinged caricature of a radical, man hating feminist.
This was one of the most outstanding episodes this show has ever done, imo. I loved it.

Oh wow this was one of my not-favorites. I thought her acting was terrible lol.
Either way, this is an interesting turn. The cult is starting to implode, but apparently it's all part of Kai's plan. I thought the zodiac killer stuff was a little random/unncessary.
Also, is it just me or has Ally barely had any screentime lately?

Uh oh I think this show might be starting to go off the rails.
The torture house thing was kind of ridiculous. The whole three way was definitely ridiculous. I get that Kai is fucking crazy but it almost feels over the top. I don't like that the show is turning out to be more centered on him that Ally, who joined the cult somehow? For some reason?
And what happened to Bebe? Last ep revealed her and Kai were in on it together, so where did she go?

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I think Ally and the psychiatrist were working together to get her into the cult, I think he sacrificed himself on purpose. I mean, he literally told her that he was going to help her get her son back, even if it costs him his life. Maybe I'm wrong though, who knows. I really like Ally as a character, and I love Sarah Paulson, and I wish they would give her more screentime. Honestly, I hope she kills them all. I fucking hate her wife so much. I like how Colton Haynes' role in the season was to get fucked in the ass and die.

Ok so this episode was fucking awesome. The scene where Ally kills Ivy was I totally knew it was poison tho, as soon as I saw they were eating. Ally was giving me total Cersei "it felt good" vibes in that scene.

It was a great episode. And it was directed by Angela Bassett, which is really cool. I thought I hated Ivy, but deep down, I secretly wanted her and Ally to make up. Her death scene was pretty fucking amazing though, so all is good. Next episode will be about Charlie Manson. I'm excited, but I'm also dreading it a little bit. Not sure if I want them to show the murders. According to imdb, Lily Rabe is playing Sharon Tate.

I get that she's reluctantly helping Kai and is the tragic villain and all that, but bitch needs to die. Charles Manson on AHS will be cray cray. I think they should just go full blood and guts. Maybe except for Sharon. I don't necessarily need to see a heavily pregnant woman get gutted. I'm still recovering from Talisa...

The Manson family flasback was awesome. Winter's dead. Oh well. So Bebe was Lady Macbeth-ing Kai, but he got out of control and now she's also dead. What is Ally even doing? And where is Oz?
Is next week the finale??

Such a good season!
So Ally became an FBI informant while in the mental hospital. She is much more of a mastermind then we originally thought. BUT it turns out, the more powerful she gets, the more like Kai she becomes. So now she's one of the zodiac killer feminist chicks. Lit.
I liked how Oz's stuffed animal was an elephant, which was the mask Ivy always wore. And I also caught that mention of Lana Winters.
Maybe the best season yet.

I'm getting super hyped for the next season of AHS.
So far, we know that Jessica Lange will be back for at least one episode, and the witches from Coven are confirmed to be back too. I also read on reddit that Ben and Vivien Harmon from Season 1 have been spotted on the Murder House set, which probably means that other characters from that season will be returning as well, which I'm super excited for. I only recently re-watched Murder House and remembered why it still is, and probably always will be, my favourite season of AHS by a large margin. To be honest, it's probably one of my favourite seasons of any TV show, that's how much I love it. It's just brilliant fucking storytelling, with great characters and some incredible acting. Also, Murder House doesn't suffer from some of the problems the later seasons do, like waaay too many superfluous characters and convoluted storylines that don't go anywhere. Murder House only focuses on a handful of core characters, but they're all brilliantly written and acted.

ok buckle up for Mad Queen watches Murder House!
Episode one was good. So clearly not all the characters are human or at least living humans, because shit is not adding up.
We have the shapeshifting maid who is seducing the husband but also somehow got murdered by the nosy neighbor in the past. So she's def a ghost. We have someone who was definitely not the husband dressing up in some leather catsuit and fucking the wife and possibly getting her pregnant. We have something in the basement that killed those two gingers in the flashback, and beat up the daughter in the present day. And whatever is in the house making everyone go crazy, like the guy that set his kids on fire in the past and in the present is having the husband walk around naked and stare at the oven.
Whatever the deal is, Jessica Lange is definitely a part of it bc she killed the maid but knows she's still around as a ghost or whatever, and also knows the ghosts are starting to fuck with the husband's head.

lol yeah, Murder House is kind of like a jigsaw puzzle, and it takes some time until the pieces start falling into place. It can be a bit confusing especially at the beginning, but it's great storytelling and very cohesive. They clearly put a lot of thought into every scene and every little detail, and it comes together so perfectly and smoothly in the end ... I love it. Feel free to ask me if you have questions, this is the season I've rewatched the most over the years ... probably like ten times, or more. The characters in Murder House are very realistic and multilayered, as opposed to the characters in the later seasons, who often tend to be somewhat cartoon-ish and over-the-top, to the point where some of them almost seem like caricatures. In Murder House, the characters feel like real people with real problems, and even though there is obviously supernatural horror, the most chilling scenes are often those depicting terrifying but very real things like rape and school shootings. Also, Constance is not only my favourite Jessica Lange character, but probably my favourite character in this entire show. I love Sister Jude and Fiona too, but there are just so many layers to Constance, and her story is so deeply entrenched with the history of the house. It's the most compelling aspect of this show to me, I can't wait to see what they do with her character in Apocalypse.

Episode 2 was good. I don't know why Ryan Murphy insists on all his flashbacks being out of order and confusing the shit out of me but here we are. So the first murder (that I know of) was in 1968 when that guy killed the two nurses. So the nurses are the original ghosts haunting the place. And then it went from there. And Jessica Lange, the maid, and Tate are all some weird pact that wants to protect the ghosts? Or something? idk. Also hey Kate Mara with your fine ass

ok episode 3
ok so more out of order flashbacks, fuck you ryan murphy
so jessica lange and her husband used to live in murder house i guess, and she caught him raping the maid so she killed them both and buried her in the yard. but the maid is still around as a ghost and appears as an old lady to women and a hot girl to men. and jessica lange moved next door to what? watch over the house? isn't tate her son?
the wife of the original owner is now also popping up, and she has a hole in the back of her head for as of yet unknown reasons.
ben's baby mama shows up trying to be messy but burn victim guy beats her to death with a shovel and buries her on top of the maid's body.
tate's a ghost isn't he? and the weird baby gremlin thing killing people in the basement is related to the abortions the doctor did down there, i'm guessing?

ok so i watched 4 & 5, the 2 part halloween episode
so fucking good. so all the ghosts from the house came back to basically torture the family. tate has to be a ghost too, because he shot up his high school like 20 years ago and he's still a teenager so he's def dead too. i stll don't really know what's up with him and jessica lange's character. she somehow knows what's going on, but idk how she's involved, since she's just the neighbor.

episode 6.
so vivien is gonna fuck the security guard. violet finds out tate is a school shooter ghost whose in love with her. mess.
i was right that jessica lange used to live in the murder house. anyone who dies there comes back as a ghost, that's why she was trying to pull Addy onto the lawn before she died, so she would be able to come back.
how many ghosts are there? hayden, zachary quinto and his boyfriend, the two ginger kids, the nurses, the abortion doctor and his wife, the maid...? do the babies kiled from the abortions count?
also why is the maid the only ghost that's also a shapeshifter?

ok episode 7
so two-face lied about killing his family, it was actually his wife. he wants the house to win over constance, who wants to keep the house up so she can keep hanging out with her dead kids. so she has the maid bite the potential buyer's dick off then has two-face put a bag over his head. seems like the blowjob was just an unnecessary step but that's ryan murphy for ya.
tate doesn't know he's dead, right?
