Hearing that the new Jurassic Park is awful. I decided not to see it when the commercial showed the humans about to be eaten by a dinosaur BUT WAIT another dinosaur jumped out and ate THAT dinosaur at the last second. So dumb.

They Live (1988) is such an excellent movie. Everyone should watch this! An 80's sci-fi written and directed by John Carpenter, the master of making tense music with few notes There are some very entertaining lines, also some very good ones. The whole movie is like a metaphor for our actual lives...without the uninvited guests though Also watched the original Halloween the other night. Wasn't as good as i thought, the starting scene was good, but i felt Myers was just really easy to kill and walked weirdly slow.

Went to see the new Jurassic World movie. Predictable and very dumb, especially goddamn that child character.
We could at least go see Deadpool 2 instead, but one of my younger friend was forbid to see r-rates movie.

Then I read the second paragraph... I'm sorry His walk just creeped me out (which is the point) but the movie felt disjointed. Maybe i need to watch again because i was distracted

(This is horrifying to my husband, especially my dislike for the Jurassic Park movie) and the first time I wanted to walk out of a movie was during Jurassic Park way back in 1993. The book is AWESOME. The movie, not so much. Especially because I was totally #teamdinosaurjusteatthemallexceptforJeffGoldblumplease. I'm not proud of this confession...but it's my truth you all.

I can related. Personally I find the first Jurassic Park move to be boring and I was never into the franchise. I haven’t read the book, but one of my friend absolutely loved it.

Er, where does she say that? The article mentions diversity, Heroes, villains and anti heroes, and a new costume. Didn’t see her say anything about HQ being a hero

Harley is with the Joker, and she killed Robin....see where I’m going with this? They could surprise me and have Harley being in a birds of prey movie without actually BEING a, well, bird of prey, but i highly highly doubt that. Margot wouldn’t be pushing for/ EP-ing a movie where she’s not the star (nor would any Hollywood actor). It all remains to be seen, but what I hear is...strange so far.

I don’t follow comics so no I didn’t need know what Birds of Prey was. I assumed this line from the link was accurate: Birds of Prey is a DC Comics series that is centred around an everchanging line-up of female heroes, villains, and antiheroes. Hence my confusion. Certainly don’t see anything in that article suggesting HQ will be a her own though

Especially when suicide squad established that Harley literally killed Robin. That’s why I’m puzzled, and am questioning Margot’s judgement as of now. I think she buys into tumblr’s version of harley a little too much lol.

Thank you, I feel a little less alone in the world. Well considering that she's about to play Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino's movie about Hollywood that takes place at the time Sharon Tate was murdered, I'd say maybe she's not dumb but perhaps needs more time to recover from a concussion?

The Netflix Kissing Booth film is so cliche, but damn I enjoyed consuming a lot of cheese and ham while watching the movie with my cousin who's a huge fan.

So I'm watching the Last Airbender on Netflix, partly because I can barely remember it, partly because I've been really in an Avatar mood lately, and partly because I was curious if (much like The Room) it was one of those "so-bad-its-good" movies.
Nope, it's just as bad as I remembered. Pretty sure this is some form of masochism.

It's definitely one of the worst adaptations out there, so much not even Netflix Death Note would top this.

I'm going back to rewatch Black Swan. I'm glad I didn't remember it for that infamous lesbian scene between Natlie Portman and Milas Kunis.
