Pro life entails quality of life, opportunities, etc. They are not pro life, they are anti-choice. Pro-lifers see babies as innocent, and therefore deserving of protection. They see actual born poor people as abhorrent, somehow guilty for their own circumstances. Did you know that some Trump supporters actually believe like they did in Medieval times, that poor people are poor because God wanted them to be and rich people are favored by God? That's terrifying that people think that way. If you don't care about health care for all, the plight of refugees, the poor, support war and the death penality..but call yourself pro-life for unborn fetuses...you need to check yourself because that's not pro life. Should newsreaders take an opinion on this? I have a lot of respect for Jon Snow, and maybe a little bit more now that he's speaking out, but I feel like there should be some level of impartiality. If he takes an opinion on it and makes it known, then it'll only fuel the idea some people have that 'the news' in general has a bias against Trump. Well, unfortunately, Trump supporters see the news as already biased against him. My dear friend, who keeps sending me Breitbart stuff and what not would not be swayed by what legit news folks are putting out there. Dan Rather started a website called News and Guts to try to combat fake news and be impartial but on his own page, he has come against Trump as well.

The world is now officially ran by a piece of fruit, a fantasy movie villain and Vladmir Putin's topless holiday photographs. I'm not sure the world is run by elected politicians. Trump isn't a politician. That's why he's president now for some reason. Also, are you trying to imply that all Putin's landslide victories were in some way rigged? The nerve!

If he takes an opinion on it and makes it known, then it'll only fuel the idea some people have that 'the news' in general has a bias against Trump. Jon's always been a slightly goofy guy, especially when he's on Panel Shows, but he's spot on here. Newsreaders should always challenge opinion. Being overly bias is an issue, but everything is bias. There is no such thing as an unbiased source, even when presenting facts. Facts often correlate with the reality we wish to represent, hence alternative facts. Yeah, on the Channel 4 news, I wouldn't expect him to start ripping on politicians, but I think there is also a credence to allowing people to voice their opinion on social media away from their duties, particularly on something as downright disgusting as this ban. I read tweets people were putting up saying that "Oh, Muslims getting deported should show the same outrage to the people causing this: Terrorists." This was a ridiculous thing to say. They were basically arguing that all Muslims should condemn extremist actions because it's representative of the religion as a whole. And this is the mentality your dealing with. It's like saying all Christians should condemn things like the Westboro Baptists Church, or all Jews should condemn the violence between Israel and the Gaza Strip. In all these cases, they already condemn these actions. However, there is some weird thought in peoples minds that Muslims need to do more, when they are probably the biggest victims of this issue. More Muslims have died from ISIS, Taliban, Al Qaeda or other extremist groups. It's not a single religion against the world. It's a fragmented number of smaller extremist ideologists, who are at odds with each other, operating under a religion, each with different practices. But the idea that they are all the same religion, therefore all the same prints better on a newspaper headline. So in short, yeah. I think journalists should be opinionated. If they support Trump, they should be (and are), therefore if they disagree with him, they should be as well.

if all liars should be fire, kellyanne should obviously be the first to go. Maybe if they read the constitution, other than their treasured second amendment, they'd know about these things called the freedom of the speech and the freedom of the press. Maybe they just can't read....
