After being taken by the Dothraki, she alone orchestrates a fiery display of power, and unites all the Dothraki into a single army, serving her. She returns to Mereen, to find it under siege by the Slaver's Army and attacked by the Sons of the Harpy. Soaring through the sky on Drogon, she and her dragons break the seige, destroying a small portion of the armada and taking control of the rest. Her and Varys secure several important alliances for her, and she names Tyrion Lannister her Hand of the Queen. Leaving her lover Daario Naharis behind, she sets sail to Westeros to take back her throne.
So
The big question right now is "where will she land?" as if could impact the rest of her storyline. My bet is on Dragonstone at the moment. I'm sure Euron Greyjoy will cause her some trouble along the way, as her army right now is a little too good to be true. Will she march North to fight the Night King, or South to fight the Mad Queen? I am hopeful for the latter myself.
What do you all think? What will Daenerys Stormborm of House Targaryen get up to next?

That is a good question, even book wise. Seems in Winds of Winter she is headed back to Meereen, tho we don't know if she is bringing a Dothraki horde with her, probably. (Actually Ser Barry is fighting a big land battle at Meereen and the Ironborn are taking the Slaver's army from behind. So does she arrive during that?)
I think the big question is how fast will the 'Others' (shorthand here, since I still don't know what to call the menace from beyond the Wall , on the show) move? KL and south of the Neck should , logically , be in disarray. Is anyone interested in Northern houses fighting one another anymore? Does not seem like good story at this point. Landing at Dragonstone for one episode seems ok. What is Euron's* plan , he wants to attack Dany's fleet? After all it would be better to throw in and subdue Westeros and then start his own shenanigans, that story is a puzzle. Some battles in the south , you know I am not interested in seeing that. It also seem non-logical. It looks like Dany , the dragons, and all her forces humty up trump everyone , except the dark forces from beyond the wall.
*Aside, I am not interested in Euron replacing ol Joef or Ramsay as the ball pen nutcase on the block, I hope they can finesse that story better.

I think Dragonstone could be a likely landing spot for her. I don't think she goes right to Kings Landing. If she did, she'd easily beat Cersei, I think.
Considering that Dragonstone is ruler free at the moment with the deaths of Stannis and his family, it would be the right spot for her to land and get her forces together and use the knowledge that Tyrion, Varys, Theon,Yara, Tyrells and Martells have in handling Westeros and what to do about Cersei. I could see her gathering some intelligence (not for many episodes though) before she makes her move.
I think she and Cersei face off in the season 7 finale.

Yeh think dragonstone as well. I guess after that it just depends on what's more tactical or what comes first. They may not have time for euron to attack Old town (although I think that's likely) and Dany may defeat him early on and then move on to Cersei.
Or its possible euron and cersei make an alliance and there is one big battle at the end of season 7. I actually like this idea better because I'm sure we'll get lots of good moments in between. And since the structure is changing they need to streamline things somehow.
I'm pretty sure Dany won't go North yet (or she might but her army won't).

I just rewatched the battle of Mereen and I'm so ready for more dragon warfare One has to wonder if the dragon-sign (shadow on KL) and the vision in The House of the Undying really mean there will be a follow up in S7? That is a dragon attack on KL. The show's 'visions' have been very sparse but so far seems it tries to follow up on those. Which makes one wonder if the 2nd 'vision' of Drogo means something beyond a 'temptation'?

And yes I agree Drogon will fly over Kings Landing before it blows up lol Oh, right right, got my Drogos and Drogons confused. So, I've never voiced this theory, but I've always wondered if Dany's prophesy about her inability to have children is actually prophetic of the end of the world, or the world as we know it. I notice that the show has repeated it a lot, that she will be able to have children again "When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child. Then he will return, and not before." The obvious reading of that is that she'll never have children. The less obvious reading of that is that when the White Walkers come, this shit happens. *shrug* Another possibility is that when Dany dies, and I do think she'll die near the end, she goes back to that place to stay. "Bittersweet."
